Fixed Term Contract to 31/10/18 – P17/12

25 Hours Per Week, £7.50 Per Hour (To be worked Tue – Fri)

This therapeutic horticultural project aims to help integrate isolated and inactive individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues into their local community utilising a combination of social interaction and physical activity. This project is funded by the Big Lottery - Reaching Communities Programme in partnership with Pendle Leisure Trust.

We are looking for a Support Worker to deliver, monitor and evaluate this project. This is an exciting, stimulating and innovative project based in Pendle, East Lancashire.

You will need possession of either a teaching or gardening qualification and skills and knowledge of conservation/horticultural/arts projects. The ability to relate to people with diverse backgrounds and medical/mental health conditions will also be required with the ability to plan and deliver a variety of activities. You will also be able to show initiative and be able to keep accurate records for evaluation and monitoring purposes.
