Health Month: FREE Activities Throughout April

Pendle Leisure Trust is offering free activities for everyone during April.

As part of a special Health Month, the Trust is putting on a whole host of fitness activities across all its leisure centres for all ages to enjoy – from eight to 80 years!

Pendle Leisure Trust’s Operational Manager, Quammer Iqbal, said: “Our slogan is ‘committed to your health and well-being’ and although this is at the forefront of our minds all year round, we are dedicating the month of April to pushing what we believe in by inviting the local community into our centres to see just what we have to offer.

We will be providing a range of activities that will benefit people’s health and well-being and we would like as many people as possible to take advantage of these free sessions and discover the benefits for themselves.”

All four of Pendle Leisure Trust’s leisure centres – Pendle Wavelengths, Nelson, Pendle Leisure Centre, Colne, Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre, Nelson and West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick – will be offering free access to a variety of activities at scheduled times from April 9th – 30th.

These include access to the adult and junior gyms, Walking Football, Aquarhythmics, Circuits, Boxercise, as well as free health checks.

Booking in advance is recommended for all group fitness classes.
