The Good Life Project Reopening

Tuesday, 16th March 2021

Pendle Leisure Trust’s Good Life Project is planning to reopen on April 12th.

The Good Life Project is a therapeutic horticultural programme funded by the National Lottery that improves the health and well-being of individuals who may be isolated, inactive or have mild to moderate mental health issues.

Abiding by the roadmap for easing restrictions in England, and if everything goes according to plan with the Government’s four step rules, The Good Life Project is planning to reopen in just over three weeks’ time.

The Good Life Project Manager, Kathy Titterton, said: “We want to thank all the people and organisations that have supported us so far – and we hope will continue supporting us. Every £1 generated is invested back into the project to help the people of Pendle.

Like so many community projects, The Good Life is a lifeline to many people who rely on us to provide vital social connections and therapeutic activities.

This all helps to maintain health and well-being and many are scared that the pandemic will leave them isolated and vulnerable. But we are determined to come through this pandemic in a position to carry on improving the well-being of our local community.

If you are in a position to help, we would really appreciate your support with a donation to help us to continue our important work once the crisis is over.

Any donation will be invaluable in ensuring the project can continue in the future to support our beneficiaries who rely heavily on what we do.”
