Sport Relief 2018

Thursday, 15th March 2018

Sport Relief week is here and this year’s challenge is the Billion Step Challenge!

Sport Relief is calling on the country to take part in the Billion Step Challenge, which aims to collectively reach a billion steps a day, every day, from Saturday 17th to the 23rd March.

A special Sport Relief app lets you track how many steps you’ve done, which gets added to the overall total.

You can also take part with Pendle Leisure Trust!

We want to see how many kilometres we can cover on the treadmills throughout the week; so whether you run, walk or jog, simply record your kilometres each time.

Non-members can take part too – just pay £1 every time you use the treadmill at any centre throughout Sport Relief week.

We’ve even got a fundraising competition for you to take part in too…

Guess how many kilometres we’ll cover throughout Sport Relief week correctly and you could win*:

Sport Relief believes everyone deserves the right to live happier, healthier and safer lives. The money they raise helps to tackle critical issues affecting people across the UK and around the world.

From funding anti-malarial drugs and maternal and neonatal care in Africa, to helping more than 50,000 people in the UK living with mental health problems; the charity’s fundraising has helped to support more than 2,000 projects all over the world.

So, dig out your running shoes and dig deep into your pockets to help support Sport Relief week with Pendle Leisure Trust.

*£1 per entry (max 5 entries). All proceeds go to Sport Relief. Enter the draw in the gym.
