By now most of us are aware of the This Girl Can campaign, a celebration of active women who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it or how they look doing it.
The campaign is funded by The National Lottery and was developed by Sport England. Together they want to help women overcome the fear of judgement that is stopping too many women and girls from joining in.
As part of this, Pendle Leisure Trust would also like to show its support to encourage more women to shed their fear of working out and celebrate the women that are already active.
Throughout July, Pendle Leisure Trust will be releasing a fresh women’s fitness video, sharing the This Girl Can’s content and will also be giving away free guest passes to women that aren’t currently members with us, these passes can be used once a week only within one of our centres.
This is to encourage and support those women looking to get back into their fitness, try something new or simply sample our facilities!
