The Good Life Project Needs Your Help!

Monday, 9th July 2018

The Good Life Project is a community allotment run by Pendle Leisure Trust which aims to help adults with mental health issues integrate into the community.

Using a therapeutic horticultural and exercise programme, the project works on improving mental well-being, physical health, reducing isolation and bringing people together while caring for the allotment, which is based just off Reedyford Road in Nelson.

As well as growing plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables, there are lots of other activities for visitors to take part in too, such as wood working, art activities and general gardening.

The Good Life allotment is currently funded by the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Programme.

But we need your help to keep this peaceful, community allotment open.

We’re raising money via easyfundraising.org.uk – and it’s really straightforward for you to get involved.

  1. If you shop online, sign up to easyfundraising before you start browsing
  2. Use easyfundraising to shop with over 3,300 retailers, including Amazon, Argos and M&S
  3. Every time you shop, you’ll raise a free donation for The Good Life Project

It’s that easy (and it won’t cost you any extra!)
