37 Hours Per Week - £17,190 Per Annum

Is working outside in the fresh air ‘your thing’? Pendle Leisure Trust is looking for a Development Worker to help support beneficiaries who are referred to the Goodlife project.

This therapeutic horticultural project aims to help integrate isolated and inactive individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues into their local community utilising a combination of social interaction and physical activity. The project is sourcing further funding to enable it continue and grow.

If you have a passion for nature, outdoor working, want to make a difference to others with a hands on approach and practical skills to maintain a large allotment site we would like to hear from you. Part of the role will also be to deputise for the Senior Development Worker.

The ability to relate to people with diverse backgrounds will be required. You will also be able to show initiative and be able to work unsupervised. Evening and weekend working may be required.
