This year Pendle Leisure Trust marks 19 years of providing the borough with a wide variety of leisure related facilities, services and activities.

The Trust, a major employer in Pendle, is the key provider of leisure within the borough and committed to delivering lifestyle improvement and wellness opportunities to the local community through a range of top quality leisure facilities and services, including Pendle Wavelengths, Inside Spa, the ACE Centre and Seedhill Athletics & Fitness Centre in Nelson; Pendle Leisure Centre and the Muni Theatre in Colne and West Craven Sports Centre in Barnoldswick; as well as its associated services – The Up & Active Project, The Goodlife Project and Pendle Body Magic.

The report reveals some great statistics, including the fact that a total of 753,980 people visited the Trust’s facilities from April 2018 to the end of March 2019; in the past 12 months, Inside Spa has retained its 4 Bubble rating from The Good Spa Guide; energy consumption has been reduced; there has been an increase in social media followers and the Trust has grown the added value of its membership with new member benefits through local and national partnerships.

Alison Goode, Chief Executive of Pendle Leisure Trust, said: “We are really pleased with last year’s figures, which show an increase in visitors to our facilities of 7% against the previous year.

We are also very proud of the fact that Pendle Leisure Trust is a not for profit organisation and every pound made is invested back into the facilities and activities for the benefit of the local people.”
