Once again, The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival has been nominated in the British Blues Awards.
But we would like to see it return to the top slot – especially after being crowned the best Blues Festival in Europe for the last two years.
So we need your vote!
Festival organiser, Alison Goode, said: “It is nice to be recognised, especially knowing the nominations are from the Blues fans themselves who vote for their favourites in these awards. So we now hope all those people who enjoy the Festival year after year will again take the time to vote for us.”
The nomination process has been conducted and the finalists in each of the 18 categories have been chosen. Now it is up to the public to choose their favourites.
Please help us clinch the title for Best British Blues Festival. To place your vote, go to www.britishbluesawards.com before August 31st.
This year there are a total of 18 categories, including British Male and Female Vocalist, British Blues Band, British Instrumentalist and British Young Artist.
Our Festival is up against five others in the Best British Blues Festival category – Blues On The Farm, Broadstairs Blues Bash, Ealing Blues Festival, Upton Blues Festival and Scarborough Top Secret Blues Festival.
This August Bank Holiday weekend we celebrate our 26th Anniversary with more than 600 artistes performing at eight official venues over the four days.
Over the last two decades we've welcomed the crème-de-la-crème of Blues talent and the calibre continues for 2015, with such Blues legends as Coco Montoya, The Blues Band, Billy Boy Arnold, Mike Vernon, Vaneese Thomas, Courtney Pine, Tommy Castro and Nikki Hill lined up to play.
The legacy continues, be a part of it. Get your tickets here.
