⚠️IMPORTANT UPDATE⚠️

All Pendle Leisure Trust's facilities are now closed until further notice.

"To protect public safety and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, Pendle Leisure Trust and Pendle Council have taken the decision to close all Pendle Leisure Trust centres," announced Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council.

Pendle Leisure Trust's facilities are:

Marsden Park Golf Course in Nelson - operated by the Trust ‘s partner, Reevolution Golf - is now open.

Pendle Leisure Trust’s community projects - The Good Life Project at Hodge House Allotments in Nelson and the Up and Active programmes - are also closed until further notice.

Pendle Leisure Trust's Chief Executive, Alison Goode, said: “We have been operating as normally as possible, with extra measures in place to protect the public and staff. The decision to close has been taken with a heavy heart, but we have to put the safety and well-being of our loyal and active customers first and it’s vital that our staff are protected too. We are working through our existing bookings and will contact customers in the near future."

Pendle Leisure Trust’s normal terms and conditions will not apply during the period of closure and the Trust will not collect any direct debit payments during this period. Any pre-paid memberships, such as annual gym memberships, will be extended to compensate for the period of closure.

Alison added: “Pendle Leisure Trust is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving Pendle’s residents’ health and well-being. We know how valued our leisure centres, Inside Spa, the Muni Theatre, the ACE Centre and our community activities are to our local communities and they will be more important than ever once the current pandemic is over. We will continue to follow Government guidance and once it is safe to re-open our doors we look forward to welcoming people back to enjoy our services and activities.

“In the meantime, we wish to thank all our customers for their continued support and ask people to please bear with us during this challenging period.”
