Pendle Leisure Centre offers a gym, pool, sports hall and dance studio.
Regrettably, the pool is currently NOT open. During the last few weeks of lockdown, it became apparent there was a major leak in the large pool. Unfortunately, because of lockdown, it’s only over the last few weeks that contractors have started to return to work and therefore enabling initial investigations to take place. The work to repair the leak now involves excavating the shallow end of the large pool in order to rectify this major problem. Obviously, as a Trust, we are as disappointed as our customers about this further closure, but we want to reassure everyone that we are doing our utmost in order to get the pool reopened as soon as possible.
The small pool is also out of use for health and safety reasons linked to the excavation of the large pool.
