Born out of the development of professional athletes, strength and conditioning classes are perfectly adaptable into your daily workout. With classes based around improving your core physique to strength training, our classes at Pendle Leisure Centre, Pendle Wavelengths and West Craven Sports Centre will give you the edge on your fitness journey.

Bums & Tums

A class which concentrates on the areas we love to hate. This traditional class is all about toning and tightening those all important areas.

Core Stability

The classes can help increase stability, reduce the risk of injury or recurring lower back pain, and increase your general physical fitness. You will benefit from an improvement in movement efficiency, increasing your confidence and gaining a better understanding of how your body moves.

Family Fitness Circuits

The Family Fitness Circuits class involves cardiovascular body-weight and strength training, which promises to be a fun and rewarding experience for the whole family. Suitable for ages 5+

Group Power

Group Power is a one-hour class that uses body weight exercises and an adjustable barbell loaded with weight plates. Like Pump start, it’s a low-weight, high-rep class The class is designed to be performed two to three days per week, with two days of rest in between.

Legs, Bums and Tums

This class is a mixture of low impact and cardio exercise that will reshape your legs, bum and tum. Burning calories, improving fitness, strength and increasing energy levels.

Pump Start

Pump Start is a high-repetition, resistance training, pre-choreographed exercise program. The potential benefits of Pump Start include calorie and fat burning benefits, improved aerobic fitness, muscular strength gains, improved muscular endurance capabilities and positive psychological benefits.

Toning

Toning is a full Body workout using a mixture of weight based and aerobic exercises.

XR2 - Endurance

Our XR2 classes focuses on functional movements performed at high-intensity. The classes focus on strength, power, endurance, conditioning and mobility, with this particular class focusing on endurance. The aim of these classes is to improve your overall fitness or improve your strength & power, as well as balance & coordination, via different methods, movements & structured workouts.

XR2 - Partner Conditioning

Our XR2 classes focuses on functional movements performed at high-intensity. The classes focus on strength, power, endurance, conditioning and mobility, in this particular class you'll work alongside a partner with a focus on conditioning. The aim of these classes is to improve your overall fitness or improve your strength & power, as well as balance & coordination, via different methods, movements & structured workouts.

XR2 - Strength & Power

Our XR2 classes focuses on functional movements performed at high-intensity. The classes focus on strength, power, endurance, conditioning and mobility, with this particular class focusing on strength and power. The aim of these classes is to improve your overall fitness or improve your strength & power, as well as balance & coordination, via different methods, movements & structured workouts.
