Inside Spa Shortlisted for Another Award

Thursday, 19th October 2017

Inside Spa in Nelson has been shortlisted for yet another award!

This brings the total to three and nicely coincides with the first anniversary of the Spa’s half a million pound refurbishment this month.

The Pendle Leisure Trust run, state-of-the-art facility has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Professional Beauty Awards; named as a finalist in The Good Spa Guide’s Readers' Choice National Awards in the Best Urban Spa category and is a finalist in the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2017 in the Small Visitor Attraction category.

The Inside Spa team is hoping to win at least one, if not the hat trick of awards in the next couple of months.

The Professional Beauty Awards recognise excellence in treatment delivery, customer service and business. This year the number and quality of entries is even higher and the judges have commented on the professionalism of all the entries. Inside Spa is one of four spas in the North West region category hoping to be crowned North West Spa of the Year 2017.

Inside Spa has been named as a finalist in The Good Spa Guide’s Readers' Choice National Awards in the Best Urban Spa category, but needs public votes in order to win this prestigious accolade.

The Good Spa Guide Awards showcase excellence in the UK spa industry, by reflecting innovation, diversity and brilliance in the spa market.

Now in their 14th year, the Lancashire Tourism Awards are the only pan-Lancashire, tourism-focused awards. Inside Spa is up against five competitors in the Small Visitor Attraction category, including Carnforth Station Heritage Centre; HAPPA in Burnley; Mrs Dowson’s Farm, Blackburn; Thornton Hall Country Park, Thornton-in-Craven and The Woodland Spa, Burnley.

Following a thorough application and intense interview process, the winners will be announced during a glitzy awards ceremony on Thursday, November 9th, in the magnificent, world famous, Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Inside Spa Manager, Beverley Hinnigan, said: “It is unbelievable that we are in the running for not one, not two, but three prestigious awards.

“But we are thrilled and excited to have been selected and we are keeping our fingers crossed for at least one win, although it would be wonderful to get a hat trick!”

Alison Goode, added: “To be in line for three awards is an amazing achievement and a credit to all the spa therapists and Pendle Leisure Trust staff involved.”
