Welcome to The Good Life

Thursday, 6th August 2015

Our Good Life Project is opening its gates to the public throughout the Summer months.

Everyone is invited to pop along to Hodge House Allotments in Reedyford Road, Nelson, between 12pm and 2pm every Saturday from June 6th until August 22nd, when the project’s last Open Day of the year will be held.

This is a community allotment for the people of Pendle and this is an ideal opportunity for them to see what is on offer in their area, have a look around the facilities, relax and unwind in a natural environment and take advantage of the surplus plants and produce that will be on sale.

The Good Life Project is a therapeutic, horticultural programme run by Pendle Leisure Trust and funded by the Big Lottery – Reaching Communities Programme. Its main aim is to get people out of the house and in to a safe and non-judgemental environment, while benefiting from being out in the fresh air, being close to nature and learning new skills.
