Rebecca's 12-week Transformation

Before launching our 12-Week Transformations Programme this year, we wanted to put it to the test to ensure that we had the best programme ready for those hoping to use 2024 as the year to transform. So, last year the lovely Rebecca worked with Jordan, one of our esteemed health and fitness specialists, to take on the 12-week Transformation. Here’s what she had to say about her experience.

“I've been on a weight loss journey now for over 18 months. Jordon has been my PT during this time and I've had nothing but great results and support from him. Last year I struggled following the sudden and unexpected loss of my mum and getting back into the habit of training and eating well. I needed a kick going into the new year, a new aim and focus to continue to reach my goals. Jordon approached me about the 12-week challenge, and it was just what I needed. I jumped at the chance to get signed up and started.

It hasn't been a walk in the park, some weeks were gruelling and I had more than a few wobbles during the programme, but Jordon was nothing but constant, he supported me 100% and encouraged me every step of the way, he became the coach I didn't know I needed, was always at the other end of the phone when I had good and bad days, advising, supporting and pushing me to keep going. The programme made me accountable not just to myself but to him, he was putting just as much time and effort into this so it pushed me to make sure I was giving just as much back.

The weekly check in's were simple to input and follow and took just 30 minutes of my time on a Sunday evening to input for the week. The training programmes kept me consistent and enabled me to track my progress and see how I was improving week on week. When I felt like I needed to change them up or I needed a new challenge Jordon simply constructed a new training schedule, taking into account my goals and problem areas that I wanted to focus on.

I've learnt so much about food preparation, macro counting and different forms of training that I can now continue to implement going forward. I'm stronger than I’ve ever been, my endurance during exercise has massively improved, and I’ve gone from struggling to run consistently for 10 minutes to managing an easy 5k run. The biggest difference is in my mental health, it's fair to say I was near rock bottom last year, I barely recognised myself and it was having a huge impact on my home, work and social life. I'm back to feeling like me again, my confidence has grown and my anxiety has reduced.

I can't recommend the programme enough, no matter your goal or abilities in the gym, it's tailored to you, and the support you receive will be phenomenal. It's hard work and requires commitment, but once you start seeing and feeling the results you'll never want to go back.

Jordon really is a true asset to Pendle Leisure. He's been by my side since day 1, and without his support, I would have been back to fad dieting and paying for a gym membership that I never use.”
