Pendle Leisure Trust’s Feelgood Factory marks its 10th Anniversary next month and will be celebrating with an Open Day on Sunday, July 7th.
Based at Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne, the Feelgood Factory provides a range of power-assisted machines designed for use by anyone, regardless of age, mobility or fitness level – and perfect for people recovering from illness or with limited mobility.
Everyone is invited along between 9am and 3pm on July 7th – exactly 10 years to the day the toning suite first opened – to have a look around the facility and ‘have a go’!
There will be a special anniversary membership offer and beauty therapists from Inside Spa will be providing free taster sessions.
Over the last decade the Feelgood Factory has become a great place for men and women to exercise and socialise; and it even still has some of its original members – with the oldest one being 90 years old!
Samantha Lamb, Assistant Manager at Pendle Leisure Centre, said: “So whether your goal is to reduce your blood pressure, lose weight or simply to get out and enjoy exercising in sociable surroundings, our instructors are there to help.
“They offer every member valuable and continued one-to-one advice to encourage regular participation in exercise, to achieve quick, safe and effective results and improve confidence levels.
“The Feelgood Factory does what it says on the tin – it makes everyone feel good! It has proved beneficial for so many people over the years and produced some staggering results; and we are hoping new people will come along on July 7th to find out for themselves.”
